Here are 2 games played this morning, both against the same player, Brundle. Not surprisingly, they followed similar paths. In the 2nd he forces me to take with a Pawn on e4, which I rarely have to do in this line. However, I get my Queen-side Pawns rolling and force him to divert his pieces from his King-side attack.

Here is a game just played, vs. chessfobia(1689). I am presenting it because it illustrates an interesting line for Black in which he sacrifices his Queen for 2 Bishops and 2 Pawns! I first learned this line from Steve Carter at the W.S.U. club. I like White's chances in this line, although he must be careful as Black's counterattack with his Bishops can be vicious!
